In the beginning we're all searching for our place in the world. We never know when the end is going to come, so we act like it doesn't exist. And we watch them die, all around us, one by one, everyday on the news. Seems to me like nowadays the word is nothing but disasters. Bad people. Killers. A lot of spilled (innocent!) blood. And that's just the simple reality of life.
Then, there's our imagination. The beginning of us, of me and you, of everyone around the world. The beginning of the thought, the idea, the fantasy. And what if those ideas and fantasies i had once could be real ? What if a movie could make them real ?
That is what horror cinema is all about, and that is the power that made this blog. Vorhees and Krueger never existed. And never will: they're just the product of one person's darkest ideas.
